The season was announced on the 8th of December, and sign ups would soon follow.
Twists[]
- Returning Players - 24 Returning competitors return and will be divided onto three tribes based on their performance in their previous seasons.
- Double Vote - A new twist found at the merge that will allow you to cast a vote, but in turn you will deny a castaway the ability to vote.
- Cursed Idol - Another item that, when found, can be played by an eliminated castaway after their elimination to add a vote to one of the people who voted for them at the next tribal council.
- Unmerge - At the final ten, the merge tribe was split back up into two tribes.
- 42 Day Game - This game will last 42 days instead of the standard 39.
